All alarms are genuine. If you activate by accident, just let the Controller know. Do not test the SOS button.
When you raise an alarm, the ARC instantly receives your GPS location, live audio, and personal risk profile.
They verify the incident, "pre-triage" the call, and in an emergency can bypass 999 and contact police directly — with full context about your situation.
How do you raise an SOS alarm on the Peoplesafe App?
Set up a discreet alarm via Settings → Discreet Alarm. Choose your sensitivity level.
iPhone users can customise their alarm using Shortcuts — follow this guide.

What should you do if you raise an alarm by mistake?
Can you test the SOS button whenever you want?
We may contact you to speak discreetly, check your welfare, or confirm your location. Always answer and stay on the line until the Controller confirms what's needed.
What do you do if the Peoplesafe ARC calls you?
Check whether fall detection is enabled on your app.
Fall detection automatically raises an alarm if you fall and are unable to call for help. Your phone monitors for freefall, change in orientation, and 10 seconds without movement.
If a fall is detected you have 30 seconds to cancel — if you don't respond, the alarm is automatically raised.
How do you adjust your fall detection sensitivity?
Option 1 — Via the app (all phones): Tap the notification, then tap Cancel Alarm.
Option 2 — Shake to cancel (Android only): Give your phone a short, sharp shake while it's vibrating.
How do you cancel a false fall detection alarm?
Your app also contains additional safety features. Select any feature to learn more, or skip to finish.
