We are pleased to announce a significant update to the Peoplesafe App for Android, designed to enhance user safety and streamline workflows. This release includes several new features and improvements, focusing on automation, flexibility, and reliability.

Key Enhancements

Enhanced Check-In Timers (Subscription Required)

This feature introduces a new layer of safety by allowing users to set timed alarms directly linked to their working day.

How it works

Users can configure a Check In Timers to automatically trigger an alarm at the end of their working day. If the user fails to Check Out on time, an alert will be sent to the Peoplesafe Alarm Receiving Centre.

Benefits

• Provides an additional safety net, especially for lone workers or those engaged in high-risk activities.
• Offers greater flexibility in managing safety protocols, adapting to varying work schedules.
• Can be used in conjunction with Timed Activities.

Bug Fixes and Improvements

We have addressed and resolved several reported bugs to enhance the overall stability and performance of the app. Including:

• Activity Timer UX improvements, the app now tells users when the timer will end based on the duration they have entered and there are minor UI changes for extending a timer.
• Fixed an issue where a Timed Activity would not be stopped after a user has Checked Out and responded yes to stop their activity.
• Starting a Travelsafe journey will no longer trigger multiple automatic positions.
• Minor adjustment to Android Working At Height Setting to reduce sensativity.
