⚠️ When to Use Shared Profiles
- Shared profiles are only recommended for devices, not phone products.
- Best suited for fixed locations or vehicles where the device remains on charge and powered on to allow panic alarms to be raised.
👥 Multiple Users
- If multiple people use the device independently:
- They must leave a voice memo or timed activity with their name and contact number.
- This ensures the Alarm Response Centre (ARC) can identify the user during an alarm.
🛠️ Creating a Shared Profile
- Go to the People page in the menu and select Add Person.
- Choose the appropriate user role.
- Enter the first name as “Shared Profile” and the surname as the team name.
- Provide the primary contact number of the manager responsible for all users.
- Select “Prefer not to say” for sex assigned at birth, unless all users share the same gender.
- If users share the same job role, sector, and risks, include these to help ARC understand potential dangers.
- Activate and save the profile.
- Assign a device by selecting the Add button next to the shared profile.
🚫 Important Note
- Shared products are not recommended for users with medical conditions, as individual identification and tailored response are critical.
📲 Using the Shared Product
- Each time the device is used:
- Users must record their name and contact number by:
- Logging a voice memo, or
- Raising a timed activity
- Users must record their name and contact number by:
