We are pleased to introduce a key improvement to our welfare check workflow, designed to give lone workers more flexibility and peace of mind during their daily activities by providing proactive pre-notifications.
Welfare Check Enhancement
- Welfare Check Pre-Notifications: App users will now receive a push notification 5 minutes before their scheduled welfare check is due, giving them a wider window to safely confirm their status and preventing accidental escalations to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).
- Aligned SMS Fallback: Our existing SMS fallback mechanism has been moved forward to match this update. If a push notification fails to deliver, the fallback SMS will also be sent 5 minutes before the due time to ensure both alerting channels remain synchronised.
- Unchanged Safety Protocols: Core safety escalations remain exactly the same. If there is no response by the due time, the system will continue to initiate follow-up calls at +5 and +10 minutes past the due time before alerting the response teams.

We have updated the Nexus Portal's bulk upload utility to streamline user provisioning. Administrators can now seamlessly import user profiles with active App Subscriptions and Escalation Roles without being required to grant administrative portal access.
Refinements & Optimisations
Bulk User Import Validation: Resolved an issue where bulk uploads would fail when provisioning a user with an active App Subscription and an Escalation Role if their "Portal Access" was set to "No". These configurations are now fully supported, allowing administrators to maintain precise access controls while successfully importing multiple users.
