How scheduled reports work
You can edit and delete any scheduled report you created. Reports set up by someone else can only be changed by them or by an administrator.
Each report belongs to the profile that created it. If that profile is deleted, its reports are deleted too.
Managing your reports
Edit a report
- Open the Scheduled Reports page.
- Select the three dots on the right-hand side of the report.
- Select Edit.
- Make your changes, then select Save.
You can change the report's name, frequency, send time and recipients. The report parameters can't be edited. To change those, create a new report and delete the old one.
Delete or stop a report
You can either delete a report or stop its schedule. To delete a report:
- Open the Scheduled Reports page.
- Select the three dots on the right-hand side of the report.
- Select Delete or Stop Schedule.
Stopping the schedule will pause report delivery, while deleting will completley remove the report and its history.
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit a report someone else set up for me?
No. To get the report you need, either:
- create your own scheduled report with the right settings, then ask the original creator to delete theirs, or
- ask an administrator to change the name, frequency, send time or recipients for you.
How do I stop receiving a report?
You can't unsubscribe yourself. Ask the person who created the report, or an administrator, to remove you from the recipients list.
Can I see everyone's scheduled reports?
No, only administrators can view all scheduled reports on the account.
Can I hand a report over to a colleague?
Ownership can't be transferred. Ask your colleague to recreate the report under their own profile, then delete yours.
What happens to my reports if I leave?
When your profile is deleted, every scheduled report you created is deleted too. Before you leave, ask colleagues to recreate any reports they still need.
