Quick Start Guide

Welcome to your new device! This guide will help you get started quickly and easily.

1. Turn your device on 

To get started, remove your device from the box and power it on by pressing and holding the power button for 4 seconds.

2. Test your device

Next, complete a test on the device by checking your device type below and following the instructions:*

How to complete a test

This will confirm that your device microphone, speaker, and connection to Peoplesafe are working correctly:

  1. Record a message when prompted by the device
  2. Listen to the message playback to check the sound quality.

*Features applied to devices may vary, depending on the options selected by your administrator. If your call button works but does not ask you to complete a test, please follow this guide to understand your device settings. 

3. Use your device daily. 

Keep it switched on. Keep it charged. Keep it with you. Keep yourself safe. 

Having your device switched on daily is the only way to ensure you get the fastest emergency response when you need it most.
