Why does the device have lights?

The lights on your device serve as indicators to show its current status. They provide vital information about your device's mobile network connection, GPS position, connectivity, and battery strength.

If you have any concerns about your device's functionality, we recommend running a device test. If the test is unsuccessful or if you still have concerns, please contact Customer Support for assistance.

 

What do the lights mean?

Here’s a breakdown of what each light indicates:

Battery Indicator

  • Continuously Lit Red: The device is charging and will turn green when fully charged. 

  • Continuously Lit Green: The device is plugged in and fully charged. 
  • Flashing Green (once every 3 seconds): Battery is operating normally.

  • Flashing Red (Triple Flash): The battery is getting low; a beep will sound every 5 minutes also. 

Network Indicator

  • Flashing (Double Flash): When connecting to a network 

GPS Indicator 

  • Flashing Green (once every 5 seconds): The device has acquired a GPS position. 
  • The light will not flash at all if it does not acquire a GPS signal.
