🔒 Why Email Addresses Are Restricted
To protect user accounts and prevent unauthorised access, email addresses cannot be edited directly in Nexus. This security measure ensures that login credentials and access to administrator or app features remain secure.
🔁 How to Update an Email Address
To change a user's email address, you’ll need to delete their profile and create a new one with the updated email.
Step 1: Add or Import a New Profile
You can manually add a new profile or import multiple profiles in bulk.

✅ Remember to:
- Assign devices or app subscriptions to the new profile.
- Add Managers and Escalation Contacts to the correct teams or plans.
Step 2: Delete the Old Profile
- Go to the People page and select the profile you want to delete.
- Click Edit.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Delete.
- Read the warning and enter the person’s name exactly as it appears to confirm deletion.

Always double-check that the new profile has the correct email and is fully activated before deleting the old one.
