Turning on the Smartbutton

• Press and hold for 10 seconds
• The button will beep once
• The button will flash a green LED

Turning off the Smartbutton

• Press and hold for over 30 seconds
• The button will beep three times
• The button will flash a red LED

Using the Smartbutton

The Smartbutton has two functions:

Activate an SOS alarm

• Press and hold for at least 5 seconds
• Device will beep and flash red LED (if enabled)
• Your phone will activate the SOS alarm and connect you to the Peoplesafe ARC

Log a manual position

Log a manual position when you get to a new location so that the ARC has an up-to-date location should an alarm be raised. 

• Press and release within 3 seconds
• Your phone will vibrate to confirm success

How to make the Smartbutton operate discreetly

When a Smartbutton is connected to the Peoplesafe Pro app the Bluetooth page in the app will display the current battery level and provide different operating "modes" that allow you to disable the LED, the beep sound or both.

1. Turn on the bluethooth button
2. Open the Peoplesafe App
3. Tap Settings cog, top right corner
4. Tap Bluetooth
5. Tap the Device Mode dropdown menu
6. Choose desired operating mode.
