What is Standard Mobile?


Standard Mobile is a way to use Peoplesafe on phones that do not support the app. It allows users to raise alarms and log activities without GPS tracking.

Important Limitations

  • No GPS: Location is not shared with the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).
  • Users must record their location and task info using:
    • Voice Memos
    • Timed Activities

Access Requirements

  • User must have an activated Nexus profile.
  • Standard Mobile subscription must be assigned.
  • If not set up correctly, users will receive a “not authorised” message.

Setup Instructions

Save the following numbers to your phone 

Save these numbers

These Nexus phone numbers must be saved into Standard Mobile device, preferably as speed dials in their phone so an alarm can be raised quickly. 

  • Raise an Alarm: 0203 750 0999
  • Non-Emergency / ARC outbound: 0203 750 0998
  • Start, Extend or Cancel Timed Activities: 0203 535 6644
  • Record a Voice Memo: 0203 535 6643

 

Using Standard Mobile

🚨 Raise an Alarm

  • Call the Alarm Line directly.
  • The ARC may call you back on the ARC Outbound Line.Raising an Alarm

⏱️ Timed Activities

  • Call or text the Timed Activity Line to:
    • Start
    • Extend
    • Cancel
  • If not cancelled, an alarm will be raised after follow-up calls.

  • Record your location and task details regularly.
  • These are vital for safety, especially since GPS is not available
