What is a Roamsafe eSIM?

A Roamsafe eSIM is a digital SIM card built into your device that provides a backup connection specifically for Peoplesafe services. Unlike a traditional SIM, it doesn't require a physical card and can store multiple plans.

Our solution offers extended coverage within the UK and Ireland by connecting to multiple networks.

How Does the Roamsafe eSIM Work?

Your phone constantly monitors the signal strength of your primary SIM. If that signal drops below a usable level, your phone automatically and seamlessly switches to the Roamsafe eSIM's connection. This ensures uninterrupted access to Peoplesafe services, even in areas with patchy primary network coverage. It's like having a secondary phone line dedicated to Peoplesafe.

What Does the Roamsafe eSIM Do?

The Roamsafe eSIM is designed solely to keep you connected to Peoplesafe when your primary network is unavailable.

When activated, Roamsafe allows you to:

  • Use the Peoplesafe application
  • Call Peoplesafe numbers
  • Activate alarms to speak with the Peoplesafe Alarm Receiving Centre
  • Receive calls and SMS messages from any number

What Does the Roamsafe eSIM Not Do?

It's important to note that the Roamsafe eSIM only provides connectivity for Peoplesafe services. It will not provide general data or call connectivity for other apps or services.

When activated, Roamsafe does not allow:

  • Call non-Peoeplesafe numbers
  • Send SMS messages
  • Use other mobile apps that require a data connection
  • Browse the internet
  • Stream music, audio books or watch videos

Roamsafe is a dedicated backup for your safety and peace of mind.
