Installing a Roamsafe eSIM on your iPhone is a straightforward process. Here's a step-by-step guide:

Check Compatibility

First, make sure your iPhone model supports eSIM functionality. Most newer iPhones do, but you can double-check by going to Settings > Mobile Service and looking for an option to "Add eSIM" If you see this, your iPhone supports eSIMs.

Obtain Your eSIM QR Code

When your administrator or manager assigns you with a Roamsafe eSIM you will receive an email that contains the necessary QR code to activate your eSIM. The QR code is also provided through your Peoplesafe Nexus account. Keep this QR code readily accessible.

Install the eSIM

  1. Open Settings: Go to the "Settings" app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap Mobile Service: Select "Mobile Service"
  3. Add eSIM: Tap "Add eSIM"
  4. Scan the QR Code: Tap "Use QR Code" and your iPhone's camera will activate. Hold the QR code provided in front of the camera to scan it.
  5. Activate: Your iPhone will tell you your eSIM from Peoplesafe is ready to activate. Tap "Continue" to start the activation process, please note this can take a few minutes to complete, then tap "Done".
  6. Label Your SIMs (Optional): If you have multiple SIMs (including your physical SIM), you can label them (e.g., "Primary," "Peoplesafe") for easy identification.
  7. Choose Defaults: You'll be asked to choose a default line for calls and data. Select your primary SIM for general use. The Roamsafe eSIM will activate only when your primary SIM loses signal.

  1. Tap on your Roamsafe eSIM: Select the eSIM plan you just installed (it might be labeled "Peoplesafe" or similar).
  2. Enable Data Roaming: Toggle the "Data Roaming" switch to the "On" or green position.

This is essential for the eSIM to connect to different networks when your primary SIM has no signal, ensuring uninterrupted Peoplesafe service.
