Assigning & Unassigning Devices
To assign a device to a user, make sure the user has an activated profile. You can check this on the People page.
You can assign or unassign devices from:
- The Device page
- The People page
📱 Assigning a Device (from the Device Page)
- Go to Apps & Devices in the menu, then select Devices.
- You’ll see a summary of:
- Total devices
- Devices available to assign
- Devices already assigned
- Find the device by searching for its serial number.
- To assign:
- Click the ➕ Add button under the Assignment section.
- A dropdown will appear – only activated users will be listed.
- Select the user and click Add to confirm.
🔁 Swapping a Device Between Users
- On the same device, click the 🔄 Swap button (two arrows icon).
- Choose the new user from the dropdown.
- Click Add to confirm the reassignment.
➖ Unassigning a Device
- Click the ➖ Minus button next to the assigned user.
- Confirm the unassignment.
- The device will now appear as available in your account summary.
👥 Assigning & Unassigning Devices (from the People or Teams Page)
You can also manage device assignments directly from the People page or when viewing a specific Team.
✅ Assigning a Device
- Go to the People page (or open a specific Team).
- Find the activated user you want to assign a device to.
- Click the ➕ Add button next to their name.
- A page will open showing:
- Devices/apps currently assigned to the user
- All available devices in your account
- Search for the device using its serial number.
- Click the ➕ Add button next to the device, then confirm the assignment.
➖ Unassigning a Device
- Follow the same steps to open the user’s device list.
- Click the ➖ Minus button next to the device you want to remove.
- Confirm the unassignment.
